Cristina Cifuentes. President of the Autonomous Community of Madrid.

President of the Community of Madrid since June 2015. She was a Delegate of the Government from Madrid between January 2012 and April 2014. Previously, she was a Deputy of the regional Assembly from 1991 to 2012, where she was given numerous responsibilities in the regional Chamber, among which, that of first vice-president, secretary of the Bureau, deputy spokesperson of the Popular Party Parliamentary Group and committee spokesperson. She is a member of the Corps of Superior Technicians of  Complutense University of Madrid.

Engracia Hidalgo. Minister of the Economy, Employment and Taxes of Madrid.

Minister of the Economy, Employment and Taxes of the Community of Madrid. With a university degree in Economics and Business from the Complutense University of Madrid and civil servant of the Technical Corps of the General Administration of the Municipal Government of Madrid. She was general director of Economic Programming and Budget Supervision of the Ministry of Education and Culture and president of the Office of Infrastructures and Equipment in the same department. From 2003 to 2008 she was Minister in the Ministry of Taxes of the Community of Madrid, a position that she held until June 2008. From 2008 to 2011 she was the Minister of Family and Social Affairs. From December 2011 and until taking office she served as the Secretary of State of Employment within the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.

Juan Pablo Lázaro. President of CEIM.

In addition to holding the office of President of the CEIM, Juan Pablo Lázaro presides over the UNO Business Organization of Logistics and Transportation and the Genova Financial Club. He is vice-president of the CEOE. He was the national president of the Association of Young Business Owners and the Association of Latin American Business Owners. In 1996, he received the Award for Public Works and the Creation of Employment of the Community of Madrid and a year later, H.R.H the Prince of Asturias awarded him the National Young Business Owner Prize.

Alejandra Polacci. General director of Madrid Excelente

General Manager of Madrid Excelente of the Communuity of Madrid. She holds a doctorate degree in Business Economics from the URJC, degrees in law and business administration from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3), a Master’s Degree in Business Law and International Litigation and attended the Global Senior Management Program at IE Madrid and the University of Chicago.. Vice-president of the National Association of Excellence Centers and a director of the Club of Medios.

 

Luis Hurtado de Mendoza. Director EMEA of Expedia.

uis Hurtado de Mendoza has a law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He began his professional career in a small Spanish “start-up” 19 years ago. After remaining 9 years in the sector of hotel technology, in 2005 he took a major step with the on-line travel company Expedia in order to develop the business of the entity within the European tourism market. For more than 3 years, Luis has been the Expedia director of Key Accounts for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Alicia Asín. Cofounder and CEO of Libelium.

CEO of Libelium (www.libelium.com), a company that develops cordless sensors for Smart Cities and the Internet of things, technologies that can make society more transparent and democratic. A business woman and computer engineer, Alicia is especially proud of showing that there can be a world reference in technology outside of Silicon Valley. Alicia Asín accepted the National Young Business Owner award in 2015 directly from the Prince and Princess of Asturias. International representative of Spanish talent on the program, “Hechos de Talento” in 2015.

Isidro Laso. Head of Startup Europe of the Europe Commission.

sidro Laso Ballesteros is the leader of the initiative “Startup Europe” of the European Commission. She reconciles Leadership with her position as a permanent “fellow” at the University of Cambridge. Recently, she has been appointed member of the “ThoughtLeaders” group on the part of the United Nations-ITU. Isidro has created various companies and has subsequently rendered services as a strategy consultant prior to relocating to Brussels

Chema Alonso. CEO of Eleven Paths.

Chema Alonso is currently CEO of Eleven Paths, affiliated with Telefónica Digital, focused on the innovations of security products and Head of Global Security Business at the B2B division of Telefónica Business Solutions.Formerly, he was the director of Informática 64 for 14 años. PhD in Computer Security by Universidad Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid.

Pedro Moneo. Founder and CEO of OPINNO.

Editor of the magazines, MIT Technology Review and the Harvard Business Review in Spain. He is a business angel through Entrepreneur Capital. In addition, he is an Eisenhower Innovation Fellow, a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and co-founder of the Madrid chapter of the XPrize Foundation.

Juan Luis Polo. CEO of Territorio Creativo

Juan Luis is an expert in the digital transformation of companies and how it affects the management of teams and organizations. He is the founding partner and corporate general director of the Territorio Creativo Consultancy, which specializes in digital marketing where he leads a team of 95 persons. Currently, his company boasts, among other clients, Gas Natural Italia, Ikea, Openbank, Paramount Pictures, Grifols, Coronita and Spotify. Author of #Socialholic and a professor at the IE Business School since 2008.

Orazio Corva. Location Manager of Car2Go Madrid

He is responsible for the management and development of car2go in Madrid. With more than 15 years of experience in the marketing sector and mobility in companies such as LG and Sony, Orazio joined car2go in the middle of 2015 in order to lead the team responsible for launching car2go in Madrid. Orazio Corva has a degree in literature from the University of Pavia and has a Master’s Degree in Marketing and an MBA from the prestigious Bocconi University of Milan.

Gustavo Entrala. Founder of 101

101 is the publicity agency specialized in digital strategy that Entrala created in 2001. At 101 he has advised local and multi-national brands from a variety of sectors, on their digital positioning. He is listed among the 100 Spaniards of the future according to the magazine Capital. Entrala helped Pope Benedict XVI with his first tweet and his agency came up with the idea of creating the account @Pontifex in 2012. He collaborates as an expert in Publicity and Technology in the program “ A vivir que son dos dias” (SER Station). Between 1994 and 2001 he was one of the chief architects behind the digital projects of the Recoletos Group (marca.com, expansion.com, telva.com…).

Javier Megias. CEO and co-founder of STARTUPXPLORE

Entrepreneur and an investor with a passion for start-ups and entrepreneurism. He is currently the CEO and Co-founder of STARTUPXPLORE, the largest community of start-ups and investors in Spain and one of the most active in Europe. In addition to being a director of various start-ups and investment funds, he has advised tens of companies and organs, such as the European Commission.
